Wow, it's that time of year when the days can be anything from sunny and cool and crisp to downright grey and cold and raw. It gets dark so early, and it's also dark when we wake up in the morning. The ponies are so fuzzy now, and they have already started eating a lot more hay as the pasture dies off. Brrrrrrr! Winter is on its way!

It puzzles me how it became November 7th so quickly. Seems like summer and fall just passed me by. It's time to get ready for the holidays now, including wrapping Christmas gifts and making Christmas cards. I also love Christmas carols and can't wait to listen to them as we really get into the season.

But right now, a nice quiet, relaxing evening is the first thing on my agenda. I sure wish weekends were longer.
