Spring needs to come PRONTO!!! The ice has started to melt a little bit. I was able to shovel a path to the manure pile tonight...phew, who needs to go to a gym when they have aerobic exercise right in their backyard? :D

I got an e-mail from an old friend tonight. It's sad how friends drift apart sometimes. I guess people just move on with their lives.

It was a nice day today. Very sunny and a decent temperature for this time of year.

The ponies are doing well. I'm thinking about feeding a vitamin E/selenium supplement, so if anybody has any advice on that, please feel free to comment.

Work is going okay...actually kinda boring yesterday. I was surprised. I expected it to be crazy, and it wasn't. I spent the day catching up on some little stuff.

There is a strange tapping in the wall...maybe it's a mouse?

Ugh, so you know how I said the ponies were getting too fat? Well, now I'm worried they might start losing weight because I have to start feeding less hay. I'm not sure if I have enough to get through the rest of the winter, and I need to ration. I am having a very hard time finding GOOD QUALITY hay.

I have some hay that's okay, but I worry about how much nutrition is actually in it. It's dusty and stalky, but at least it's not moldy. I threw out 8 moldy bales this morning...SOLID BLOCKS OF MOLD...DISGUSTING!

I'm glad it's the weekend. I've been working too hard, and I need a vacation.
