Wow, I can't believe it's the end of January already. It's going to snow tonight! :)

Work has been pretty quiet lately. I'm surprised, but happy.

The ponies are doing well, but they are really fat. :D I'm surprised since it has been pretty cold, and they should be burning off calories, but they're doing just fine! They eat mostly hay...very little grain, and I think maybe I should cut out grain completely.

I'm really sad tonight. Having horses is supposed to be fun and relaxing, and it's really stressing me out right now. I love my ponies very much, but dealing with the things that are necessary to keep them (ex: crazy hay dealers) drives me insane!!!!

I can't wait to go to sleep. I didn't sleep very well last night, and I'm exhausted.

I absolutely MUST buy hay feeders! I can't stand how the ponies waste so much hay! Hay is such a precious commodity, and I like feeding a lot of hay and little grain, but they just stomp all over it. If I put out less, then my rescue horse thinks she's starving to death. But of course she refuses to eat stomped on hay.

I tell you, horses are crazy! :D
