I am so tired tonight. It was an unbelievably long week. Very very busy at work and not helped by the weather. It rained literally alllllllllllll week. The sun just came out a couple hours ago, along with massive swarms of horseflies. Oh, man, the bugs are SO bad this year. I have tons of fly tape up in the barn, and there must be hundreds and hundreds of horseflies stuck...it's so gross.

So after I finish nightcheck on the animals, I'm just going to hang out tonight. Maybe get some stuff done inside, as I'm hoping the rain will finally let up this weekend, and I can get some riding in. The horses haven't been worked since last weekend! I had some great rides on Sunday...it figures...as soon as we start doing something great, then we take a week off. :P

I am also getting worried about the hay season. It's mid-June now, and no one is cutting because it's raining NONSTOP! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. I'm starting to get down to the end of my hay supply, and some of the bales are moldy...ewwwww, I HATE MOLDY HAY.

Good thing the rain is helping the pastures grow like crazy. I need to increase the time on grass for the horses. I'm always VERY careful with letting them on spring grass, but sometimes I can be too careful. Need to be better about increasing the time slowly but steadily.
